In May 2022, I went to Morocco to join a 10-day tour with Intrepid Travel that takes you off the beaten path to explore the rich cultures and diverse landscapes found in the southern part of the country. After a two-year hiatus from international travel due to COVID-19, I was eager to explore a place that was completely different from my home on Vancouver Island and the Sahara Desert was calling me.
